We didn’t just start a club—we started a movement.
Armidale Cricket Club was born from a simple idea: every cricketer deserves a place to play, grow, and belong.
While many of our founding members had played elsewhere, we saw something powerful happening in local parks—groups of passionate players, often from diverse backgrounds, keeping the game alive with tape balls and weekend matches. But they lacked access to formal teams, leather ball cricket, and structured competition.
So we built a bridge.
Today, we proudly field two grade teams in the local competition, offering clear pathways for players to move from casual cricket to competitive formats. Our club is built on strong governance, inclusive values, and a commitment to community growth.
We don’t compete for players—we create opportunities for those who’ve never had them.
